President’s Message

Johar to all!

At Nour Punp Charitable Trust, our journey began with a simple but powerful realization—that development without identity leads to loss, not progress.

Our ancestors created strong social, cultural, and governance systems that ensured harmony between individuals, community, and nature. Unfortunately, in today’s fast-changing world, these systems are rapidly disappearing. Education, culture, and values are becoming disconnected from each other, leaving future generations uncertain of who they are.

Through Nour Punp Charitable Trust, we have taken a humble step to reconnect tribal children and communities with their language, culture, traditions, and knowledge—while also equipping them with modern education, especially English-language learning and life skills.

Our vision is not to resist change, but to guide it with wisdom. We believe that tribal knowledge holds solutions for many of today’s global challenges—environmental degradation, social fragmentation, and loss of collective values.

I invite educators, researchers, institutions, donors, and well-wishers to join us in this journey of preservation, empowerment, and sustainable development.

Together, we can ensure that progress strengthens our roots rather than uproots them.

— Mr Sanjeev Bhagat (President, Nour Punp Charitable Trust)
